Good afternoon. I have been chastised for my lack of postage. However, in my defense, I would like to offer the comment that posting is an occupation best reserved for postmen, which (last time I checked) was not my job description. As for postmen in general, eloping to Gretna Green with one's postal worker (as I believe they may now be known) is indeed an option. However, my postman is actually a woman, so perchance I shall leave that to the male members of my household. I hear the milkman is available, should anyone wish for a gentleman with whom to run away to some far-flung place to keep herds of cows and churn butter in her spare time...
I hope this will suffice. By the way, has anyone seen the boot? It seems to have been lost in transit, and the Monopoly board is not quite the same without it. Perhaps the boot is on the other foot. Sparkles and pink fairy dust xxxx
Comments:
I have two boots! How exciting! I wear them both and go splashing in puddles! Maybe you can join me. Splashing in puddles is always far more fun with someone else. Love you! God Bless... AndyG xxx
I'd love to darling! Bring them with you on Sunday (yes, you may of course come for luncheon) and we can faire de la peinture so they're all pretty, then splish splash splosh we can mosh and get very wet indeedy.
Love you xxxxx PS: If you find the top hat, please let me know, for the posh jacket looked tephra, being short and fat (encouraging that twas too big I suppose!) so I need summat to make Monopoly classy xxx
I have bad news for you my dear je n'ai aucun de wellington boots :o( However I do have some money to buy some new ones (hurrah!). Then they can be decorated in a particularly pretty, flowery (and dare I say it) pink way! Look forward to moshing aplenty. See you in the new year shall be at your for dinner (around 1pm). Love you xxx. God Bless AndyG
Since when was the mutual admiration society ever apart of monopoly... should the national trust be worried?
The National Trust should be more worried that someone demeans their name to two common (or perhaps 'improper'?!) nouns. Lack of capitalization surely is a far greater offence to humanity than mutual admiration, for appreciation of one's friends is indeed one of life's most important things. Love and capital letters xxxx
Wow Miss, have you read 'Eats, Shoots & Leaves'. Well of course you have, you did lend me the book after all but I thought I'd send you the website address so that you could view some horrific grammatical mistakes from around the world that are almost as bad as mine! eatsshootsandleaves.com . God Bless fellow mutual appreciation society member...
I scored 83% on the grammer game! Sad considering I studied English Literature for 5 years!
