The Queen has appealed for tolerance and understanding between cultural and religious groups in Britain's diverse society. She said religions were often in the news as "sources of difference and conflict", whereas they all bore messages of tolerance and respect. She also pointed out that diversity was "a strength, not a threat". Christmas is the one time of the year when the Queen writes her speech with no advice from the government.
Comments:
Darling, was it really neccessary to use quite such an unsightly photograph of me? I feel there must be some more flattering one somewhere...I hope so anyway.

Thanks for keeping me so informed about the current news; I feel that ne'er again will there be such lofty issues discussed!

Twas just to show you some posts and how they would look and stuff. Obviously once you've started posting properly I'll remove these. I'm send you some links of alternative images later this evening! xxxx

nice angels

where is the board though? and can i collect £200?

oh and also just to say the link to dv8 is incorrect.

Well, 'go' seems to have fallen off the board, so unless it's returned to its rightful place, the £200 will have to remain in the bank, i'm afraid. However, Uncle Pennybag (or whatever his name is) is doing a very good job at looking after all the uncollected money and perchance if 'go' stays awol for a protracted period of time, he will
a)give it to the church collection as an 'anonymous gift'
b)use it to change his name to something better, by deed poll (perhaps 'Uncle Penniless' in deference to his new financial status after said transaction)
c)scarper to warmer climes, laughing all the way

It's his call, really.

O and about the incorrect link (and for that matter, spelling of my home town), Mr Guilder is to blame (or commend, for 'Camberly' is an interesting alternative spelling, wasting fewer letters of the alphabet, and thus being of help in Monopoly's rival game, Scrabble, should you lack the extra 'e', and if one were allowed to use proper nouns), for he has created the entire thing apart from my angels (his Christmas card)...

Well to be honest I'm still waiting for the first post from Miss Cowen! So my spelling sucks and my links are no good - nice way to kick a man when he's down (and teribbly snffly and ill!) - at least...oh pants nothing witty and funny comes to mind. Anyway back to doing nothing and moping around. God Bless...Andy G
